chambres d'hotes / auberge

BED & BREAKFAST IN FRANCE

Le Foulon is more than just a chambres d'hotes or an auberge - the French term for an Inn. Bed and breakfast (chambre d'hote) in France can be better than any faceless hotel or it can be a cold room above a farmers barn - it's a hit and miss affair.

An auberge is more like your traditional British b&b, although the food is almost always going to be far superior, as only the French know how. But like everything the quality varies hugely, and some are very comfortable and good value, whilst others are best left alone. Le Foulon aims to combine the friendliness that many of these properties have in their favour, with the facilities and space of a small hotel, plus an added dose of friendly service.
