The feature unique to this suite is waking up to the view of Mount Cheiron glowing orange with the rise of the morning sun. It is a truly special view, and can be seen from the comfort of your own bed. However, pictures cannot do it justice, and within half an hour the shimmering colour has faded and you're left with the arrival of a new day. It's well worth setting your alarm for, even on holiday.

Being on a corner the room has a double aspect with incredible views south to the Courmettes peak, and West through a metre wide round window on its mezzanine level. Through the round window the vista takes in all of our land, Greolieres Castle and le Gros Pounch; literally a big belly of a mountain that curves all the way up to 1,225m.

Probably the most traditional of our 3 suites, the Strauss nonetheless incorporates more modern ideas like a huge shower with two heads (as they are clearly better than one) and space for two, comfortably. It is also equipped with a bath - one of the original Le Foulon antique roll tops, renovated back to new.

Named after a former Spanish owner we're sure Fablo would have felt at home with the original tommette provencal tile floor, antique furniture and the huge rococo style mahogany bed.

Named after a former New York owner, Gertrude is South facing, with large double windows providing maximum light and making the most of the panorama down the valley of the wolf.

Monsieur Soubrier was a former hotelier at Le Foulon and gives his name to the best value room in the house. The same great views and comfort, only a little smaller.

On the first floor the fully carpeted Jacob room is a good size with lovely views and a modern bathroom including a small french style roll-top bath. Can be used as a superking double or 2 twins.

On the ground floor the Almairac benefits from it's own decked terrace area and direct access to the garden. The clever wrought iron superking bed can be split into 2 singles.

These smaller rooms are only available as part of a group rental of the whole building. They may not be quite so grand, but they have wonderful views, comfortable beds and have the same peace and tranquility as all Le Foulon.
