Now I know the sceptics among you will say we sat down with a beer or two and wrote these reviews ourselves, but we can assure you they are genuine messages via email, taken from our guest book or submitted here on the website!
Before the level of commission demanded by Trip Advisor became untenable and we left that platform, Le Foulon was rated rated number one in the area with a 4.5 star average. Today, as you can see from the Google Reviews listed on the right, our standards are as high as ever with an average rating of 4.9 stars.

We had a wonderful time - loved your place and can't wait to come back !! Had a great day yesterday, when we left you we went to Vence which we completely fell in love with and we stayed there for a couple of hours before heading off to Monte Carlo where we drove the race route and walked miles around the area - our jaws dropping constantly at the cars and beautiful people everywhere !! On the way back to Nice Airport we went to Eze, beautiful place, and then went into Nice for a drink before heading back to reality !!!! Long journey home and we were exhausted but both had the best four days. Thank-you SO much for your hospitality and say hello to all your friends - they were lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable. Will let you know when we will be down in the summer, thanks again.
The location is simply superb
Back home now and just thought you both deserve a word of thanks and perhaps a little feedback. The last 2 or 3 days were very enjoyable for us and your efforts played a major part in this. You were very attentive, the food was great and then there is the location... The room was just what we were looking for... different and very well furnished. It was really the photographs and description of the room on the web site that made the decison to make the reservation... There were no regrets when we actually saw it. The location is simply superb, for us anyway. It really is no journey from Nice and yet could be 100 miles away. The trips we made to the coast really just left us wishing we had spent more time in Le Foulon and the hills that surround it. Perhaps Monaco was the exception to this, which I did find impressive. Negative side... Nothing for us really. You are really quite brave to take on such a large project... It makes some of the property renovations on TV seem 'mickey mouse' in comparison. What you have done so far is great and we really hope you have the luck, stamina and stores of ideas to take the project all the way to completion. We would really like to keep track of how you are doing... Perhaps you could update the web site with the detail of progress? Once again... Many Thanks and good luck.
